The TI-2B also features patented power sharing technology that enables the cook-top to be more energy efficient and conveniently run off a standard 120 V outlet. Power sharing allows the unit to have 1800 watts shared between the two burners at 100/0, 50/50, 80/20, 70/30, etc. Please note: Induction compatible cookware is needed. Induction requires pots and pans that are made of ferrous (meaning magnetic) materials. To tell if your current cookware is compatible with induction technology, grab a magnet and see if it holds. If your magnet stays then your cookware is compatible.
